 Rulez Clothes & Tools
  Category: Identity

Rulez is a clothing and accessories shop targeting teenagers that are into skating, snowboarding, graffiti, and many other urban style hobbies. We were put in charge of designing their new brand identity. We used strong black and whites, and also vivid colors, associated to the target’s energy and exuberance. We also incorporated a font with little defined shapes, inspired by the fact that the audience is at a stage in life where they are just beginning to shape their personalities. As an important detail of the brand’s tone, the Rulez logo can be used as a stencil, which reminds people of graffiti tagging.

 Shelf Concept
  Category: Industrial

When we play in-house with our talent sometimes we come up with amazing things. This is a classic example of research for functionality while trying to use a cost effective solution for spacing issues. Be it used for home or office purposes, the modular office storage equipment is a flexible and smartly designed solution that adapts to space requirements. Built from plastic polymers, it comes in lightweight customizable modules that can be used accordingly to everyone’s needs. The shelf concept provides a fresh and modern approach to similar common wood based products on the market, with it’s perfect shapes that mold around the objects and the possibility for redesign on the fly to match any setting you might have in mind.

 Tiret - Black Stone Dial
  Category: Post Production

The shot you see on the left side is exactly what we received from our client, we didn’t blur it more trying to foul you (we promise!). The story goes like this: this was a custom made, one of the kind watch, and our client didn’t have time for a photo session before they sold the watch to it’s current owner. They received a proposal to be included in a catalog for exclusive brands, and at the same time they had a chance of having access to take photos of the watch while it was in for regular maintenance treatments.

The watch was in Switzerland, and had been taken apart into many pieces by the watchmaker during maintenance. The person in charge of this process was asked to take the best picture he could. He took the picture with a regular camera and the lights available in his shop. That’s the picture on the left side. We knew the design and how it looked in it’s original state, and we had as much material at hand as you can see when we started to recreate it. What you see on the right side is the result of a great post production process, and not the art of a fantastic photographer.

This project is an international story that happened overnight with: a client in New York, a watch manufacturer in Switzerland, a magazine publisher in UK, and a creative studio in Bucharest; Okapi Studio.

 Floe Magazine Identity
  Category: Identity

Before designing Flow magazine, we started with the branding process. The solution offered is based on custom made typography. The cursive font with curved shapes, influenced by modern design, is easy to read, and being the fact that Floe is a young upcoming magazine, we choused to position the logotype on the header, large with white background, so people can notice it fast at the news stand.

Tiret New York - Web Presence
  Category: Web & GUI

Established in 2004 by the accomplished designer Daniel Lazar and the entertainment entrepreneur Damon Dash, this prestigious luxury timepiece and jewelry brand caters towards individuals with distinctive tastes, celebrities, personalities, style and fashion leaders.

We’ve been working with Tiret New York for about one year before we starting to redesign their web presence. Our job was to reflect the the lifestyle and exclusivity image that Tiret NY is promoting. It took some time until we created a few concepts, did a selection and refined the final version. The experience is unique and the website has that “wow” effect that everybody was hoping for. We received great comments regarding the execution of this website, I hope you will enjoy it, and why not, we hope you will also enjoy the Tiret lifestyle, their timepieces are unique.

The custom made pattern we produced for the website is planned to be used as wallpaper material in a Andrew Martin style of fabric for the interior design of Tiret show booths and why not as packaging.

 Terracan Real Estate Agency Identity
  Category: Identity

After being on the market for 2 years, Terracan realized their communication was not reflecting the current reality of the company. We had to give shape to their brand identity. The minimalistic approach of the cube styled shape we used for the logo was meant to showcase the idea of space, as well as the innovative and fresh business approach of this real estate agency.

 Sunnyday Store
  Category: Web & GUI

While designing the interface for the Sunnyday website, we had in mind fresh images of the actual t-shirts. A website that would fit their image was needed since these products have such great personality. The solution is based on using cool flash animations, patterns and illustrated graphics.

 Grasu XXL / “Curaj” Cover
  Category: Graphic

To design the cover for Grasu XXL’s upcoming album, we had to bring together both the artist’s image as well as his songs feelings into perfect graphic communication that would make the disc recognizable on the vendors’ stands alongside other musical records. Being an upcoming artist, we realized people need to associate a face with the sounds they hear when they play it. We focused on his look and appeal, using photos and light graphic details to create the atmosphere. This is a project where graphics need to give a visual shape to the audio content. We took the project from scratch after a short briefing and project planning, starting with an in-house photo session. That was followed by the graphical process, and you can see the result bellow. We are looking forward to future similar projects because music is a big part of our lives.

Plastic is fantastic - industrial design
  Category: Industrial

Another exotic industrial design concept from the Okapi creative shop, the “Plastic is fantastic” armchair-sofa. We live in an world dominated by practicality and efficiency, the product serves as an icon for this mentality. It is built from solid plastic (the white part) and covered with a smooth, elastic, rubber texture (the orange part). The ingenuity of the concept stands in the simple way you can combine different pieces to redefine the spacing of a room. It makes its wonders when used in many pieces, for example in clubs or coffee shops.
